1. From Brendan's experience, he believes the average party should be about 2-3 hours, you want to have enough time to have loads of fun but not to long so they get bored. 30 mins for everyone to arrive and play some games. 1 hour for the entertainment. 1 hour or so for some delicious party food, some more games and enough time to hand out goodie bags!

2. Party Invitations should be sent out early to give plenty of time for reply. You can buy them, or make your own, which will give your child a chance to be involved or you can get an official Brendan Dooley Party Invitation! Whatever you do make sure the invitations contain; Your Child’s name and age. Your Guests name. Where the party will be held. The date, and time. How to reply (your phone number, etc.) Just in case of any emergencies it's a good idea to have all your guests parents phone numbers.

3. To help you and the entertainer, make sure you book them well in advance so you are able to get the time and date you are wanting. Do not go for the cheapest entertainer, remember you are paying for their experience and expertise and the fun and joy they will bring to your Child's party for them and their friends!

4. To help the entertainer at the party, try and eliminate as many distractions as you can. Although Brendan is adaptable for situations, the more eliminated distractions, the more fun the children will have during the show. At childrens shows and birthday parties, Brendan prefers that the children sit on the floor in front of him, not all spread out and all over the place. One of the most difficult and distracting things for any performer is to have a group of adults chatting away behind the children, or even in the kitchen. So try to make sure that any parents or relatives either watch and participate in the show or get completely out of hearing range.

5. Kids will usually start arriving at the given time, they will usually have a present and maybe have a jacket so it is ideal to have a place to put these. To help parents find the venue, place some balloons or something that makes your venue to stand out to show that there is a party happening here! If you are having an entertainer, it is recommended to have him start about 30 minutes into the party to give time for the latecomers to arrive. Of course, for your party to be a wonderful experience your child will never forget, Brendan Dooley is an excellent choice and will certainly help to make your special occasion something to remember!
